Ayurveda The Sister Science to Yoga

Fireweed Yoga goes beyond the poses, we want our teachers to be deeply connected to themselves and know how to support their dharma/life purpose. The lens of Ayurveda is how we take Yoga off the mat and into our daily lives. It offers us a lens through which we can care for ourselves and see our clients more clearly.
In this 25-hour module facilitated by Jill Novak, we will uncover the key principles of Ayurveda and how to apply them in our regular routines and rituals.
This course will cover how Ayurveda defines health, highlight nature's rhythms and the flow they cultivate, and teach you about the Doshas: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. We will learn how to balance opposite qualities in your mind, body, and spirit to optimize your health. You will curate your own dinacharya/daily routine, see clearly the ways your body shows an imbalance, and know the keystone habits that keep you stepping into your dharma.
Rollout: This module will be delivered via seven recorded lessons. Each about 60-90 minutes.  You are welcome to do these lessons on your own, or take advantage of the Live Call offer over 3 weeks Fall 2021.
Price: $499 (or included in Registration for Fireweed Yoga’s 200 Hour Teacher Training Program)
